A hand-made wooden arcade controller, built for a clone of the classic arcade game "Tempest".

The prompt for this project was to fabricate something using primarily 2 different materials that are not acrylic or plywood (ie: 40% material one, 40% material two – the remaining 20% to be acrylic or plywood if it made sense for the design).
I created a retro-style arcade controller, intended to be paired with a clone of the old vector-graphics game Tempest that I made in Unity.
This piece is part of a series around the theme "symmetry is overrated", and plays with the use of intentional and surprising asymmetry.
